Getting a slight rise in the lake and low and behold it drops in 2 hours this morning from 684.21 to 684.19. Must be evaporation don't you think ? Bra keep your hgands off those valves.

When I left Pk earlier this week, the Brazos was low and running very little with only one gate partially open. PK is down 15 feet.

Don't expect much help from upstream.

Everyone keeps talking about the BRA sending it downstream but I live just off the Brazos in Somervell County and I have not seen much more than a trickle in a couple years.

Hate to see Granbury getting this low. Sure was awesome fishing last spring for bass. We were able to use the launch at the dam then, but if we don't get some heavy rains in the next couple of months that ramp won't be usable next spring. That water is going somewhere as it keeps dropping by the week.

Evaporation in these temps?

I point the finger at the 40000 people who have lush green lawns in December!!!!

No excuses the lake is in horrible shape, there were no water restrictions out in place until it was too late. Blame the council.

You're looking for a reason for a change of 0.02 inches? Not even a statistical change.

Wind direction can change the apparent level of Toledo Bend by a half foot in a couple of hours.

Good info psycho. The bottom line is that all area lakes need some serious rain in the next few months.

On 12/76/13 On 12/6/13 the COE station gauge at Granbury dam was 684.21.On 12/15/13 the same station reported 683.21. The gauging station at Squaw creek on 12/11/13 reported 775.35 ... on 12/15/13 it reports 775.35. Squaw creek water is much warmer than Granbury and it doesn't seem to evaporate as as quickly Granbury , Food for thought in our warm and toasty homes.
