Is an electric carving knive the same as a electric fillet knife and if so what's the best

I wouldn't say it's the same thing but I use a carving knife. I've tried several of the specialized fillet knife and I find the aren't nearly as powerful as the carving knife that I have.

Will some fillet blades fit that carving knife? I seen some for around $6-8 but have yet to buy...

I'm not sure. I've never really tried to find a fillet blade with the same type of connector. I keep thinking I will make an effort to find some but never have gotten around to it.

Tried 1 electric "filet" knife. After one mess of fish I returned it and went back to Walmart and got another of the cheap B&D electric kitchen knives. Seem sharper blades and more power.
