you could also just drive to eichelberger crossing and fish the old iron bridge. u can park under the hwy, and fish right from the bank. slip cork rig at 2 to 3 feet, with blue and chartreuse jigs, minnows, or whatever you got,. Theres a place you can put your yak in over there too and you can paddle up or down river and fish different stuff. if not familiar, look on google earth, and u will see the old bridge. of you go south from there, theres other bridges with massive logjams, that can hold some crappie sometimes. just watch your sonar for signs of life.
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

That is true. There is another good sport for a yak down river under the 185 bridge good log jam and not a lot of people fish there at least not as much as the other bridge

Hint hint .. If you fish eichelberger pylons .. There is Brush all along the pylons .. If you set slip cork at 7 ft Your good anything much deeper you will get hung up .. There should be some nice folks there as well .. That will help you out .. You will figure it out .. Who knows I might be around .. If fishing by Big stump under bridge by channel try 10 ft slip bobber .. They've been hanging out there too . Good luck. .. Maybe I will see ya out there ..
