went to fayette yesterday, got on the water at 830am...fished timber, caught some outside of timber in 12 ft range.most were caught in open not really hugging structure.fished the dam afternoon, fish really stacked all along dam,we probably boated close to fifty on the day.average size of 4lbs.their bellys were really fat!! water temp was 71'mostly all caught on plastics using multiple colors.... fyi if you have a truck cover i would advise you to cover your vehicle, those buzzads will eat the rubber off your windshield!! I call BS I was there Sat. we only boated 4 it was horrible everyone we talked to said the same thing water temp was 70 everyone had the same response only boating 4 on average. Doesn't mean this guy didn't have some great luck. I've been on both sides of this on FCL.

Got on the water after dark on Tuesday and off at 1 pm on Wednesday. Caught 18 but never found a pattern. Biggest 22.5",4 unders the rest slots. One on crank, rest on t-rigged and t-drop. Water temps in the upper 60s east, low 70s everywhere else. Saw a boat circling an area they left without fishing. Caught 2 in the area right away with a couple of bumps and then nothing else. Didn't catch anything until 9pm and nothing after 11 am.

Typical Fayette...hammer them one day and tough the next.. I plan on going late next week. Is the Plant not generating?
As to someone calling BS, I had the same thing happen to me a couple of years ago on a report I did on Coleto Creek... Had a decent day during the early spring, had a local guide basically call me a liar on my report. Like I have time to get online to just make up a false report...what purpose would that serve?

Plant was blowing out of one of the skinny stacks and the big one. Current was very strong at both the intake and outflow.

Went to decker again and temps dropped to 54 and plant was not running. Was a horrible fishing day with zero fish boated. All boats on lake i spoke to reporting same thing so not sure what happened. I got skunked is all I know and that never happened before till now lol.
