Anyone got an update on things at decker?

Nitro Man z7 and I are goin out over there tomorrow afternoon and any news could help...

Baits? conditions? anything at all...lol

The power plant is an auxillary plant but with the below normal temps it might be generating. If it is pitch that senko weightless up into the many shoreline reeds. If there has not been any generating(cold water) fish traps over the hydrilla. Post your results.

CT, I am sorry you have to fish with Nitro man Z7, he will front boat you all day long, wont net your fish, and then eat all the snacks you bring.

Lol, I know he does (that is why I always pack extra snacks, and have gotten good at pickin up the garbage fish that didn't bite his line...and since I am getting his leftovers, I don't usually need the net anyways...lol)

On a side note (just thought ya should know), Nitro Man z7 has mentioned you in conversation a few times now... and from what he tells me, you are a stand up guy with some great baits!

Just got in! and boy was it chilly!!

We got there around 2 (I think...)

Senkos are the way to go... I was using green with red flakes and got quite a few bites (actually managed to catch one of em to! lol)

While we were there, we saw another boat, with a little guy onboard ... this little guy couldnt have been more than 9-10 (maybe younger) and he was fishin a big full size bait cast rod and tearin up the fish...

So, we fished until dark, when they stopped biting... Good times

lol Nitro Man z7 put on a wacky senko fish catching seminar for a minute there at the end (not sure if I remember how many he got, but it was one after the other for him for a little while...)

Glad ya'll got on a few. He is 9 and one heck of a bass angler. He has been fishing with my dad and I for a few years now and has been using bait cast from the start. I told him you wrote about him on here and almost crapped his pants. He is fired up and wants to go back today. Nice talking to you guys yesterday, see you guys on the water!

Lol, that is awesome! I'm pretty sure when I was his age, I was just as enthusiastic about fishin, but I definitely wasn't using a baitcaster!

and man, talk about a small world, I was gonna ask yesterday if you were a member on here or on AustinBassFishin, and I guess I should have, seeing how I saw you on both sites now!
