Its time for some more fluorocarbon as my spool is running out. I keep hearing about guys getting "bad" spools here and there. Am I just lucky that I haven't bought a bad one yet? Been using invizX for about 2 years now.

Fluorocarbon is very good for jigs and t-rigs and c-rigs, you just have to make sure you keep maintain of your line. Stretch it every month or 4 weeks. I try to throw my lines at least once a month and don't have to many problems with line memory

I used to use Invisx but had a day full of bad experiences so I tried Bass Pro's XPS and have been very happy. One disadvantage is that you cant just buy a spool anywhere like Invisx. The Invisx problems were most likely due to a lack of proper maintenance by me to be honest.

I had 2 bad spools of invisx out of the box, so I switched to trilene 100% fluro and I seem to like it even more than the invisx

Let me ask this with a little more detail. What is the best flouro for spinning set up? I am using vanish but having some issues with too much memory.

I have always had good performance with any of the Seaguar products,I think the BPS flouro is good as well. I have used the Berkley flouro and found it to be inferior to those mentioned, although I consider Big Game mono second to none. I have heard good things about Sunline and plan on trying it in the near future.

I don't use it on a baitcaster, but the seagar red label is a little softer and has more stretch than the higher quality fluoros and for this reason works pretty well on a spinning rod. Otherwise the braid with a leader will make the line last a lot longer, it will always be fresh and it will have far fewer headaches than straight fluoro will on a spinning rod. Currently I have p-line fluoro on my spinning rod and it works fine, but you have to condition it with KVD's juice and really baby it to keep from getting twists and birds nests.

I tried the berkley and had breakoffs so I've stayed with invizX. Guess like with everything else these days, you're going to have a few bad runs of product.

If u have ever fished with me u have seen my on the front deck of my boat yelling and cussing because I can't seem to break of my jigs using 20lb invisix. I haven't had a bad spool yet. And I have bought everything from 200yd spools to the 1000yd spools. I have also had success with sunline shooter Floro
