Yeah I was pretty happy with that ive had some good luck at the pawn shops. Im kinda nervous about keeping the braid I was thinking about tieing it to my receiver hitch and walking it down the road to check the line out .but I would be pretty butt hurt to lose a nice fish so I dont know yet.

I've stopped a couple of times at a pawn shop and only found Abu's once -
And they knew they value of what they had.
I guess I just need to keep looking more-
Nice find!

You found a heck of a deal there. Congrats. I gave up on pawn shops a long time ago. I have never found a deal, always over priced.

Eaiser just to take it w/ ya on the next outing and put a shallow water crank bait on it and spool it out behind boat at trolling speed. Then, examine it as you retrieve it back in.

The braid on it looks hardly used.

I am not one who can barter bur a buddy of mine is always getting deals. The prices I see are always out of sight but Mike hardly ever pays more than 50% of asking price. He says to look on the sticker, it will be a date that shows how long it has been there and he uses that to deal with. I wish I had his knack for dealing with pawn shops.
