I throw the strike king sexy spoons and have done great with them on fork and Rayburn .... I've owned 5-6 different brands and they all look the same to me . Some people just charge you an arm and a leg for a logo

Lake Fork Tackles 5", Bass Pros 5", and Joes I carry and use all three brands. I love spoon fishing all of these act a little bit different. If I think they should eatig a spoon I will work through to find which one they want.

I have done well with the LFT, Talon and Strike King spoons. I think the price on em' is kind of bummer because of how easy it is to lose one, but they all work. Sorry, not a really helpful answer, I just don't this type of bait can be very differentiated from another. Hook, split rings and a slab of metal. If you can, you should try at least one of the Big Joe Spaits spoons just because I think originals, like a senko have something special about them that are hard to copy.

Just pick up a few of these from Joe Spaits and be done with it. Read about them here on TFF last year, enough folks recommended them and he sounded like a fine fellow. Stopped by his place on Fork, picked out the one above as my favorite, listened to him explain how to fish them and where. Caught my first fish on one the next day when in desperation I tried it out. Was a little shocked to say the least. cheers

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

I will be testing some out soon. I have several different ones.

Joes spoons, LFT, and Nichols.
