I was at Fork all day Friday...not a bite. Front seemed to have arrived early. bang

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

I'm sitting this one out. Too many other days to go out now. Dec and Jan will be enough cold weather for me.

Good luck and be safe

38* on Lake Austin yesterday and that Lake was on fire!!! 25+ solid keepers
Best 5 went over 25lbs an a 9.25kicker. Some fish came out of 1 ft of water. I think these Central and south texas fish like us welcome these cold fronts, it's stupid hot
down here 99.9999999999995% of the time. Some of my best days have come on the coldest outings including yesterday.

Statistics show that young bassers who fish under extreme conditions don't grow up to be old bassers. They become burned out or to rephrase frozen out. I'm staying in.

Nice pretty days fish don't bite for me. Nasty days seems to be the best days For me Just my 2 cents. Like fishing in the rain is my favorite.
