I usually hook them in the water. other than that use trick worms!

I use the Senko O-rings and then an Octopus hooks or a weedless wide gap hook. If I need to add weight to a Rattle Snake I will use the Lake Fork Tackle O-ring 1/4 oz.

I just went to Lowes and picked up a pack of #5 o-rings in the plumbing department. Was surprised that a box of 10 was about $3. Hearing others talk about it, I would have thought they would have been $3 for 100. Oh well... At least I didn't have to drive 30 minutes to Cabelas.
