A buddy from New Mexico was here. Frank Grahm. Called Tex44 and said lets go. Got on the water 9:30 went to a mid lake hump. Caught a few. Went to check shallow water but figured they would be gone since the shad are in 18 ft. of water. Sure enough no body home. Started checking humps and they showed signs of moving to humps. Started find pretty good wads of fish on the humps.Fished till 2:15. Ended up with 135 on the clicker. All fish caught on ole ugly slabs and flies. We kept some for Tex to have a fry . He is going to take some pictures and post later tonight. Fish were medium size not a lot of dinks but not many real big ones either. Looks like the real good fall fishing his here. Of course I am partial to the fish being on the humps. A lot of people like the chucking and cranking but I am lazy and like the numbers you are able to catch when they are on the humps.

Talked em into going back to the humps. Slab em up sj!!
