I know someone is killing the fish today. I would be out there but I am stuck....I mean getting to eat a pre Thanksgiving dinner with my mother in law today. Calm winds, pre frontal conditions I am not real happy today.

Gene,

At least you were able to get some turkey out of the deal. Someone is bound to post a brag report soon as it was bound to be epic out there.

I went out for a few hours today, nothing epic for me. I saw Rockwall Roy. It was sort of like dodge ball with all the sail boats. It was a great day to be on the lake! I know someone had to have a good day on Hubbard.

Kathy wanted to run out since it was so pretty out. So we ran out to red barn cove. You didn't miss much. Caught six sandies, baby hybrid and two yellows in an hour. Roy came by and they snagged a couple. All in all pretty slow. Beautiful moon rising!

Nothing to brag here also Gene. Spent half day helping out at church. The other half attending coaches meeting for my son's basketball team. Did have dinner with mother in law and dad in law also. Coach Todd got volunteered and will be coaching ten 8th graders from Dec to Feb, prime DS season? violin

Saw your txt of your DS rig from moes last night Gene, looks great! I was busy at my In laws.

Cool pic of Mad Max, good daddy Terry! thumb

I went out yesterday and found the birds working at Robertson Park in the shallows but it was all the baby Hybrids from the stocking effort. (thanks for that, gonna be good in another year or so)

They started busting top water about 30 minutes before sunset and kept heading shallower until they where in about 10" of water...

I did chores. If the freaking wind had not been blowing i would have been on the lake. They have finished the alley and i can get my boat out now. But the wind took a dump on that idea and we are back working overtime at work to boot. Probably working this entire weekend too. Oh well beats the alternative smile

I was cutting up a buck I had shot saturday but did get by the slip to check on the boat around noon. The guys said the bigger Crappie are moving in now. It was all dinks how if you stay after it you can catch a bunch. The guy next to me caught 50 and 20 of those were nice keepers Sunday Morning. I will be out after the Sandbass next weekend as well as the Crappie.

Nolan and I will probably go out next weekend, weather permitting. Let me know when you are going.
