I'm usually alone. PFD is on, and phone is in a case. I'm also usually in a place where I could make it back to the bank unless I am completely incapacitated. Other than that, if it's my time to go, at least I am doing something I enjoy.

I certainly love fishing with others and would never give that up but the reality is that I seem to catch more and better fish when I'm by myself. Not sure why this is the case but it is... PFD is always on, wife always knows where I went, phone is on me and I don't get too adventurous if the conditions are not ideal. What I mean by that is that I go to places I'm very familiar with and basically stay within sight of my vehicle most of the time if it's crazy windy or cold. I'm also like Pelican... In the summer months when I'm off it really breaks me up to text pics of big fish to my buddies at work but I promise it's not to rub their noses in the fact that I'm fishing and they're not, it's just an added safety measure. I promise.

I usually fish alone nowadays, mainly because I got tired of waiting on my buddies who never could get anywhere on time. I have limited fishing time already, i'll be derned i'm sitting at the drop in waiting on anyone anymore. lol. I have two rules I always follow, let my wife know where i'm at and always wear a pfd. Have fun. ^^^^ this

I love to fish alone but my family, boyfriend, friends and coworkers get upset at the idea. But, on the other hand, nobody wants to paddle around for hours like I do, or mess around with rigging like you have to, or seine for bait. Just become as informed as possible about all the dangers and whatnot and kayak fishing alone isn't too ignorant.

This might be the weirdest, most pointless post ever. I am not against golf, since I cannot but suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering fishing

Almost always fish alone, as I am sure many others do. +1 Always let someone know where you're going and what time you are expecting to get out of the water. Good luck.

Fish alone 95% of the time, fresh and salt. Something to be said for making all the mistakes we've all made in privacy.
