You guys that fish there a lot, what do you think this last cold front is going to do to the shallow fish? Did it get cold enough to send them deep? I am planning on fishing the Mexico side but not sure which end to start on. Any info appreciated. I have already read the report from FLT but it was before the front.

My guess is they will be shallow again and pretty hungry. I would love to see them move out deep and I will sure look for them out there.

Was there last week after a front. After the first night temp low was back up around 60 they were wacking lipless cranks and spinnerbaits in the very back (as far back as you can get) of the biggest creeks. Huge numbers of 2-3#ers with few big ones mixed in to keep the anticipation up. The forcast I last saw looked good to duplicate that pattern this weekend.

Thanks for the help guys. I only get down there every few months and it is hard to track any pattern that way. I read all the reports but sometimes there is nothing new even after a weather change. Looks like we will be hitting the shallows and if that don't work for us we will move a little deeper.

From what I read they are out of Mexican fishing licenses. FLT said he ordered some 2 weeks ago and still has not got any in. Something about license printing troubles. We are going down next week and we know we need some new ones....so if anybody knows where we can get one when we get down there let me know. Thanks!

Please post any Falcon reports. I would have loved to have been there this weekend and was wondering what I missed.

I went and caught 21 on Saturday with 4 over 7. It was pretty good for the first couple of hours in the morning with 11 of those fish boated. We had to grind the rest of the day for the remaining fish. All caught in 8' or less in Mexico.
Sunday Falcon was pretty stingy, only producing 5 fish on a spinnerbait for us until we had to leave at noon. None of those fish were boated before 10:00, the opposite of Saturday.
You sure can't beat the short-sleeve weather in November though.

No problem. From the tourney results though, it looks like my time would have been better spent on Lake Austin o.0

James at Falcon Lake Tackle posts great reports. The previous ones have been saying "tie on a spinnerbait and have blast" I would love nothing more than that! Haha.

That works but while throwing spinnerbaits, if you pass a tree in 6-8 feet of water.. Stop and toss a 12 inch ZOOM plum worm texas rigged beside the tree and let it sit for a minute..
