On sale at academy. Anyone have a review on this unit?
Looking online they are not very good reviews at all. But negative people tend to comment more than positive ones?
Appreciate any suggestions on this model or any less costly <$300 Down scan unit...

Had a elite 4x dsi, never saw a single tree! Stump, much less fish. Ended up with hds8/lss2 and elite 7 HDI and yes the lake does have trees, stumps, boulders, fish, ... That can be seen on these units. As someone else mentioned you do get what you pay for.

There good units just really small.almost worthless unless there in your face like on a kayak
