Congrats! I'm sure you have earned it. May the rest of your years be blessed with bent rods and screaming drags!

Now the problem becomes, do I fish today, build a boat, tie some fly's or just goof off on a cold morning (today)??? Guess I'll put the crockpot on,make a good stew and contemplate my options. DAM this dicision making is tough.
Enjoy Don. I do.

Today is my last day of work. From now on I fish when I want to and where I want to and as long as I want to. If my wife lets me. Congrats on your ability to retire and fish "if the wife lets me". I will be 71 come January and no voluntary retirement date in sight. Enjoy.

Congrats on the retirement!!! I quit the corporate world 3 1/2 years ago and have NEVER regretted it! There is a re-training curve when your entire world changes. My Sweetie Pie is just now learning how to sleep till she's finished, ain't gotta hurry about nothing, and all the other benefits that come with retirement.
yeah...its grrrrreat!!
Religion is a guy in church thinking about fishing. Relationship is a guy fishing thinking about God!
