Count me in for next trip. It was in deed a great trip and couldn't ask for more. Again thanks for everybody especially to the great crew of Scat Cat as always, to H4L for donating some "goodies" and to my fellow tuna anglers who help each other out. Last but not the least, thank you for the great food and drinks esp the margarita (thx to Joe).

I've always had good luck putting a whole jalapeo and about about half a teaspoon of minced garlic per pint. It's just about the right amount of heat for what my family likes. It's also good canned with sesame seeds. Looks like Y'all had an awesom e trip. Congrats! I don't think it matters how you cut them up as long as they're in there. I've always just sliced them lengthwise and pack everything tight in the jar Thanks Bryan .... I was thinking one whole fresh jalapeo per pint. And the garlic is a good idea. i think they will like that too.

How was the weather and the waves? How long did it take you guys to make it out? Weather was sporty going out, sailing into a falling sea the first night, correct timing for a killer first night 3-5ft, flatten out the next night 2-4, hurt the bite... It takes 12-14 hours of travel from Port Aransas one way to floaters in GOM.

Well I'm glad you guys had a good trip and glad you guys were able to put some fish in the boat with the gear i donated. William .... this is the lure I selected. It wasn't packaged so I don't know the name. It was a topwater lure and I made a number of casts with it. Although I didn't have any luck with it that certainly doesn't mean it won't be the one next time. And it certainly doesn't diminish my appreciation for your kind donation. I will definitely be making an order with H4L before my next trip to the floaters. Bobby J.
