Caught live bait Saturday before sunrise and drifted near birds. Ended up with about 20. Threw back some small fish. I am am looking forward to some more striper fishing these next 2 months. I like to blacken my stripe bass. It's my favorite way to have it. Took some of Saturday's catch for the po-boy below. cheers

It was good!
- Toasted hero roll from Sam's club
- mixed ketchup and mayo for sauce
- lettuce, tomato
- stripe bass with Chef Paul's blackened redfish magic
Cooked on a hot iron skillet on my grill outside with just a little butter with he seasoning

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach
