Can you point me in the direction of local shops that tie their own flies? Most of the shops that I have been to that sell flies use the bulk order service where most of the flies are made over seas. I have left the shop with a few flies and they put them in the bulk box that they received them in, with markings that say Clousers made in the Phillipines.

I just used Miller's for a trip to Cabo. Ordered on Tuesday and they were at my door this evening. Pretty quick service!! Will be using them again.

Can't think of a single Texas fly shop who ties their own for sale. Some tie for show for sure. Flies for Cabo? Do tell that story!
I get e mails from Africa all the time trying to sell me flies for resale.

Back from Cabo and it was a bust on the rooster fishing. Pretty tuff being able to see them but not getting a cast out far enough to try to get them to take a fly. I definitely will get a guide next time I go.
