Moved to Texas(love it here) from Colorado in July and have really struggled to find fish. Fished Grapevine, Lewisville and Ray Roberts a couple times but haven't landed anything of sizequantity wasn't great either. I have a 21ft Ranger Reatta and was thinking about Joe Pool or Arlington this weekend since they both seem to be relatively full and I live in Flower Mound. Any thoughts on those 2 lakes or should I go somewhere else? Thanks for the tips!

If you're in flower mound, I would give Ray Roberts a try again, bite is supposed to be good right now. But out of those two you mentioned, I would hit JP.

Arlington is ALWAYS tough. Joe Pool is OFTEN tough. There I said it. Grapevine is closer and SOMETIMES tough. I pick Grapevine! Ray Roberts is pretty close for you and it's NOT TOO tough right now.
