No crappie...did well up in coffee at first light with a 5.11, 6.2, and a bunch of unders. Moved out to caney about 9 and located a ton of fish that I assume were crappie but no takers. Used chart/white and about a dozen other colors but nuthin. Even tried minnows for a while but the schools seemed to be moving pretty fast. No complaints though...it was a beautiful day on the lake and the bass caught first thing kept my spirits up. Not to mention the Bass Cat parade all day...there sure were some pretty boats out.

Oh! And got to see my second Bald Eagle this year. He was right out on the end of caney point feeding on baitfish. Man those things are pretty!

WOW! Those pics are bad [censored]! I had one fly 20 or 30 feet over my boat on Holbrook last weekend but couldn't get a pic with my phone. I'm either going to try ketchns trick with the binoculars or put a good camera on the boat.

Lol...I was just sitting here wondering if the shop could get by without me tomorrow. I've only had my boat for about a month so I'm still pretty excited about being able to go whenever I want. Main goal is to get my crappie fishing skills where they need to be but still enjoy bass fishing
