Out of the cove at East Fork. Looking for some nice catfish. Any suggestions on where to start my drift? Depth? Anybody want to join?

I was thinking of going to Lavonia if it is open. Not going too early but would be up to going mid morning. Posted to see if the park was open, I thought someone said it was, I am probably wrong, hearing is not what it used to be.

My preference is also Lavonia.
I drove halfway up the East Shore today. Lavonia, Mallard, and Little Ridge all have locked gates. Did not go further, but I assume it's the same with Pebble Beach, Lakeland, etc.
West of the dam, Avalon is closed. East Fork opens at 6:00 AM if you've got $4. Of course the ramp is closed, but you can carry a kayak down it.

Thanks Carphead. Well it looks like it will have to be East Fork. I will be stopping at an Asia market on my way to pick up bait and am thinking of fishing 10ish to 2 or so. From what I have heard the fish are anywhere from a couple of feet to 20 plus deep. I will be driffting and hope to find a pattern and catch a couple. Hope to see you there.

I should still be there. I'll be the guy in the cowboy hat and the 15' Perception Search.

KQT had a 25 lb Blue when I left. Believe he said it was a PR. I perconally was skunked.
Around 12:30, one lone bass boat roared past about a half mile away. I have no idea how he got on the lake. Other than that, just kayaks and canoes.
