Has anybody been out there lately and how has the fishing bee. I haven't been out there in a while and not quite sure what to do. Any tips or tactics are well appreciated. Thanks

Ya I usually like to look at that as well but with the lake as crazy as it can be I was trying to find some better first hand accounts as well as more up to date. Thank you any way ColoradoTransplant I appreciate the help a lot.

I know this isn't current, but 2 weeks ago I did well throwing square bills in 3-6 ft depth around trees. The shad were schooling just out side the mouths of the northern creeks hanging close to cover.

I fish the west side south of the marina just northeast of the dam. Big bites on a jig.

Think blade and crankbait bite is tough on RayBob right now. Senko hooked weedless, weightless on rocky points in 2 to 6 ft of water worth trying

What are the water depths like? I have only ever launched out of Isle Du bois, and usually fish a small creek drainage to the west on the south shore, or a cove of trees about a half mile to the east on the south shore. Going up this Thursday first thing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as well.

Yup this coming cold front is going to be "the one". The first real cold one of the year. . .and the fish are gonna shut down.

That stinks, still have to give it a whirl, have a buddy flying down from Wisconsin, so we will just have to grind it out. I figure slow fishing texas rigged flirt worms, and carolina rigged hogs through the grass and timbers. we will see.
