Hey guys, I am headed to Corsicana Texas for a few days next week, I will have 4-5 hours a day of free time and would like to do some creek or pond bank fishing? anyone know of any good places to catch some perch or bass this time of year down there? PM me with your suggestions OR post them here thanks!

The IOOF park on the west side of town has a small lake that has bass and and several species of perch and bluegill. They also hold the "Kid Fish" there and stock catfish for the kids to fish for. I used to fish there when i was waiting for my son to get out of football practice and would catch as many as ten bass on a quick trip around the lake. Small cranks and plastics should work. What days are you going to be here?

It is at the corner of W 2nd ave. and 45th st (also known as FM 2555) just south of the high school.
