I pulled a map out of my truck and noticed Richland Chambers isn't too far from Ferris.

Bank or Boat? i'm assuming bank. Lake Waxahachie isn't far, plenty of bank spots and access for small boats on the middle ramp. Lake Bardwell in Ennis, i know all the ramps are closed due to water levels, but Highview marina may still be open and if they are, they have a fishing barge. If highview marina is open, they may also have the park open which has alot of bank access. Both lakes are close to you.

I used to catch a lot of crappie at the barge over in highview... Also, there are some rock quarries between ferris and Bristol that have a lot of fish.... Not too sure if you can still access those pits or not, but used to terrorize em 18 or so years ago.

Be very careful, most of that property is owned by mining companies and do not tolerate anyone except employees, some of the property is owned by individuals and you must ask permission to fish. Typically hard to know who owns what as a lot of the properties are leased by the mining companies.

Those rock quarries are between Farris and Bristol list before you go over the big hump in the road... 18 yrs ago there was no issue with anyone fishing em, but no telling now...

I tried finding access points to the trinity all down in ferris and bristol area. Seems all the access points are gated or on private property. I google earthed and went down every little dirt road with no luck.
