How's the fishing @ Falcon? Is it worth the 5hr trip right now? What's the bight been like shallow or deep?

Here is a link to a video my web guy and I shot. If that looks like a good time then you better get on down here. We have a lot of fish in transition right now and I expect the rock/deep bite to pick up significantly in the not so distant future. With that said we will have plenty of shallow fish for ya to catch for the foreseeable future. Here's the link and best of luck while you are down. http://highstakesbassin.com/falcon-repor...-take-any-bull/Jay

Contact guide BassinBilly. He is on them. This. Don't forget he's got a nice lodge over looking the water and your boat is cover right by your door.

I was there just this past Sun/Mon. If night temps stay above around 60 you can wackem. Sun morning temp was 48 and I had 1 bite all day. Sun night temp was about 60 so Mon I had 30+ fish, all 2-3#'s with one 9+. All Mon fish on red lipless in very back of Saleneze. The best bight was down lake in the very back of creeks were the submerged junk still has some green to it. Most people I saw were throwing spinnerbaits.

You should still be able to catch em on lipless cranks for awhile. Maybe a Strike King Red Eye Shad or a Rat-L-Trap.
