I didn't buy any of my boats based on color. I bought them for the "deal". I just picked up a 12 Z521 and it's got some brown on it. Not one single damn was given. Some of these boats look like Liberace threw up on them!

Red, Black and Silver..........all the way. Nothing wrong with that!
The Optimax came from the factory with the black background and red and silver stipes. The Triton was custom painted to match the Optimax. The truck is balck with red and sliver glitter highlights.

Photos/info are in Trades and Classifieds. Not upside down or asking over value, think its just time of yr.

If a good used boat from a major manufacturer stays on the market very long is usually cause its overpriced True! If some would realize that if your boat is up for sale for more than 45 to 60 days and hasn't sold then maybe it's not worth what the asking price or even close in some cases. You can usually tell who is upside down on them too. I have sold 5-6 boats on here with most selling within days. You just can't have a sentimental attachment when selling one. You gotta be realistic in understanding what it's actually worth to the average buyer. I see 2008 and older boats pushing $35,000 and to me that is not realistic. This... Im shopping boats again and some guys dont get that a 2008 boat is 6 yrs old.

Most of the time when I see a bass boat for sale, by someone that is waiting for his new one to get here or is already here, why are they mostly red and black. No, this was a brown old ranger. Like late 80s or early 90s. Nice boat too. Had a mercury but it was a 175 I think. Old school merc. Squared off cowl. I talked through pm with the guy. Think it was 361v. Anywho....

I think that the 08 09 boats in that price range are okay under a few incidents.
one LOW HOURS and 2 the add ons.
I am looking to put mine up here shortly its an 08 I got in 09.
Its a 20 I with an upgraded hydraulic jack plate, upagraded road armor channel trailer, 1197/997, all new batteries, all new bearings and breaks, one year old Fortrex, 2 props one custom worked Hydromotive quad IV, and powerpole, padded deck...
and its under 200 hours on the motor.
Asking that range IMO isnt totally insane on that setup.
Now are barebones deal with no extras and 300hours ya i think not.
To me there is some value in the add ons.

Add ons lose a LOT of value on an older boat. No way a 2008 Skeeter 20i is worth $35,000 or more. Reality is 1197/997 is older technology these days. No way at all. it is still a 6 yr old boat. Nothing changes that. Not bashing you at all just responding to what you posted. I wish you well in getting close to that but I will be surprised to see it get more than $31,000-32,000 and that is on the high side. I sold the exact same boat with fairly low hours and plenty of warranty and it was tough to get over $30,000 for it back then. Probably could have got $32,000-33,000 if I wanted to hold on to it for a long time. Tons of good, used Skeeters in Texas. Its just the reality of it.

Extremely low hours on a 5+ year old boat scare me
I don't want one that's sat around and not being used Sitting vacant is the worse thing

I have a tendency to sit and fish for hours on the same patch of stumps even though I KNOW they ain't holding fish. Anywho... Just my opinion

I don't want a ton of hours either. But that's more than likely ment that its been up kept
I'm talking a 5-7 year old boat with less than 100 hours That's sitting way too long on the shelf and not being used
