I used him whole for bait. He was probably 3 -3.5 inches long. Don't get their blood in any open cuts or mucus membranes.

Yes you can eat them like lobster but if it hits you its like getting shot by a 22. I have mantis shrimp in fish tanks and they are fun to look at some pet stores will give you big money for them.

if you buy dead shrimp from bait shops or off the boat you will occasionally see a few in there, real small ones though like an inch long
