Most excellent sir. Gratz. Kinda surprised that there were no buffs.

Thanks everyone. Funny thing is we lost some of those cats on the stringer and were recaught two days later by Josef and Ben! Full of our corn! There were rumors of the mirror being a recapture but it wasn't. The lake Fork tournament is coming up. If you haven't fished it I recommend it. Its definitely a great angling experience.

Nice catches. Got skunked for buffs and carp last time I fished Fork, all we caught were some lousy channel cats.
PB common = 41 lbs PB mirror = 22.5 lbs PB buff = 26 lbs

Yeah those Buffs are a little tricky to catch out there. Seems like if they do come in they don't stay for long.

Again nice fish Jack, glad I could spend a little time with you guys before I completely got obliterated by that storm out on the island lol
Buffs are a lot rarer on that lake than it may appear. I've only had buffs in my swim on about half of the sessions i've fished out there, and when they come in there's no keeping them there, they are extremely nomadic feeders on that lake for some reason and seem to stay moving at all times.

Yeah that's definitely been my experience with them as well. Seen some absolute beasts come into the swim and think its going to turn on then 20 minutes later they're gone. However, the cats from California managed to stay on them during the first tournament. Guess you never know.
Austin thanks for recommending the swim to us. As I mentioned there were two PB's that trip. My brother isaac caught that beautiful 19-10, the one with the sunset in the background and my buddy Mark with a 22-8, the guy in the red shirt. I think I should mention that fish was caught on a bass rod that we put a method ball on, put it in the balloon launcher, opened the bail, and launched it out about 60 yds! It was his idea and got him his new PB! It was crazy. I thought for sure that was a bad idea but he wanted to catch one on his rod. Its only weird if it doesn't work right?
