I personally like the Simms suit much better than the 100mph or Guide Wear. Much higher quality material.

I am looking for a rainsuit as well. I have tried on the Simms raingear but just can't talk myself into the price ( well I guess its not being able to talk my wife into the price). What are the size comparisons between the Simms and the Cabelas suit? I don't have a Cabelas near me so if I decide to go with the Cabelas suit I'm afraid that I won't be able to return it if it is too small or big. I am right on the edge with sizes. Could go either way medium or large. Any suggestions woud be awesome!
I would be drinking but I have a Fishing problem.

You guys, I tried on BPS 100 mph Large bib and jacket and they fit me. For those of you who have had both would a large also fit me in the guidewear?

the main thing is Gore-Tex. I have a set from BPS 12 years old and still keeping me dry and warm . the Red head brand back then. It doesn't have the free advertisement on it like some now.

The guide wear seems like its way too good of a price to pass up at 1/2 price.
One last question. The stuff on 1/2 price is not insulated. I'm asking the older guys. Would you hold out for the insulated or not here in Texas. I'm thinking not. Just wear my underarm or if it's that cold.

I have the un-insulated and if it is real cold I just layer up. I think the insulated would be to hot on the warm spring rain days. I have had mine for 8 years and they still work great.

Love my guide wear unless I have to pee real bad. Has great velcro every where. Had mine over 10 years now. I too bought the uninsulated so I could use them in the spring. Just layer up on cold days.
 Good luck and safe fishin'!!!!

look at the bps pro qualifier, I did not see enough difference between that and the 100mph to justify the price difference. went with the pro qualifier and like it a lot so far. This. PQ is significantly cheaper and is actually better here in Texas because it's lighter. Still has the gore tex and is extremely well made.

I've had the Pro Qualifier from BPS for about 5 years now and love it. That said, I bought the Guidewear for my son's Christmas present yesterday. It's nice stuff

Bass Pro doesn't offer any Suites but their 100 MPH rain suit is the bomb....
