I need to purchase new winter rain gear and would like opinions on these two options. I see both, but the reviews on the Cabela's site don't look real good on the GuideWear. The 100MPH suite seems to have good reviews.
Looking for TFFer opinions.

Look at the Cabela's Bass Angler guidewear. Good reviews and it's is on clearance right now at an incredible price. I'll let you know what I personally think of it when mine gets here in the mail today.

I absolutely love my 100 MPH suit.
I wasn't crazy about the price but I figure I will wear it for 10+ years. I'm at 3 already and still love it.

Got my 100mph suit about 4 years ago. Found an online shop that was selling them new for a little over $300 for the parka and bibs combo. All I can say is that the suit is and has been AMAZING.

Guidewear is better quality (zippers and the Gortex seems to be a better grade of material). My Dad has it and I have the 100 MPH. Go with the UN-insulated Guidewear.

I went with Guide wear the price was good and its lighter then the 100mph. Here in Texas i felt like the lighter option was better.

look at the bps pro qualifier, I did not see enough difference between that and the 100mph to justify the price difference. went with the pro qualifier and like it a lot so far.

I've had my Guide Wear for 4 years now and it is awesome. No problems at all. That being said I don't think you could go wrong with either one. They are both quality products.

Pretty equal comments. Does seem like either works well.
Thanks for all the feedback.

I had the 100 mph and now have the Cabellas Guide Wear. Both are great, you can't go wrong with either one, so get the one that's cheaper! The 100 mph bibs are not a comfortable as the Cabellas, the 100mph bibs have a cross member that comes across the suspenders in front and they tend to rub you on the neck when your bending over pulling in double digit fish! Just joking! but look at this picture and you can see the strap that I am refering to[enter] https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/102740392/Wallings%2011lber%201.jpg/[enter]
