I have never been to Falcon but thinking about a trip the second half of March. Can anyone help with what Falcon is like then? I would expect the temps could vary greatly and I am sure it could be windy. Thanks for any info you can offer.

Me and a couple of guys from work are looking at the same time. Really interested in the response you get. Never been but seem like its gonna be fun. Anyone recommend a guide for a day?

If work was as much fun as fishing, I'd LOVE my job!

PM BassinBilly on here. He is a good guise and can get you on some good fish, and he also has a nice duplex he rents out so you and all your buddies could all stay in one house looking over the lake. I stayed there in August, and next time I go that will be my first choice. Or his number is (281) 928-1133 if you want to call him. I would try to book early though because Falcon can be a madhouse that time of year.

March can be a busy time around here, but it is also a time when you can catch a big fat biotch up in the shallows. We will have post spawn, spawning, and prespawn fish.

Wind can certainly be a factor, but if you come for a few days you're bound to get some good weather.

Temps can be from the forties to the nineties.. But plan on highs in the low eighties..

Most folks will be beating the shallows looking for a spawning giant.. And for good reason..

Make your reservations early. There are some local guides that have good reputations for puting you on fish. You can find a bunch of them here..

What Jame's said! Give yourself at least 5 days and expect 2 of them to have wind with limited fishing.

If we concentrated on the really important stuff in life,

there'd be a shortage of fishing poles

This!!!!! We just left a trip with him yesterday and today. Fishing was a grind and he still put me on them caught my PB of 8 lbs also caught our share of other big fish! The duplexes are very nice and billy is an even nicer guy and good at what he does. Give him a call you will not be disappointed
