Do a little research and clean/fix them yourself, it really isn't that hard and there are videos all over youtube that will show you how. The majority of the reels I have done have been pretty close to the same on the inside. I lay mine out on a table and disassemble left to right, snap a couple of pics as I am going to make sure I get them back together correctly. After a few times of this you ought to be able to do it blindfolded. On RT's website, www.tackleright.com , he gives you instructions on how to do it yourself.

I sincerely appreciate the positive comments from those posted on this forum. As to the comment about my shoulder surgery, yes i had surgery the 25th of October and am doing fine. I am back in the shop and working. I may be somewhat slower for a couple of weeks but will continue to get the orders completed. RT has been replacing all the guides on my old rods as I bring them to him. My old Cruicals are like new. And the price is right in line with all of Rt's other work.

+1 on Tackleright. Just got a turnaround on three shimanos in less than a week. Price was very fair and the reels function maybe better than they did when they were new.
