It was tough for sure! Either way there was a lot of people who came out in support of the Fisher House. We dropped a check off for $7,600 yesterday and the staff was nearly floored by the amount that we were able to raise.

Thanks again for all that showed up.

We are going to start planning next years event in January and hope to make it much much bigger! Thanks

Brian

Sorry to all for my tardiness on posting.
Here are the sats on the event:

1st Place: Tim and Judy Reneau. 13.33
2nd: Patrick Ouborn and Dylan Garret. 10.17
3rd: Bill Fillmon and John Hammer. 7.64
4th: Richard Bacon and Brendon Kennell. 7.30
5th: Kurt Dove and Olin Jensen. 7.15
6th: Joe And Donna Reynolds. 6.10
Big Bass went to Tim and Judy Reneau with a bass weighing 3.88

A huge thanks to all the fisher men and women who participated!
With a field of 32 we gave more money to the Fisher House this year than we did two years ago with a field of 58! $7600 was given to the staff at the Fisher House. Their jaws were wide open in amazement!

That is in large part to our sponsors! Thanks to them all, especially Red McCombs Toyota of San Antonio, who really stepped forward and is looking forward to helping us grow this into the biggest event in Texas!

Next years event will be scheduled as to not conflict with the other circuits still going in the fall and WILL avoid opening of deer season.

Thank you again to all of you who volunteered, supported the cause with products or money. A special hats off the Clem and Rachel of CR Custom Tackle who conducted the weigh in! They really stepped up and allowed me too do what's I'm told I do best.....TALK!

Until next year

Patrick Wilbricht
