Check out my new video from my 12th place finish at the LoneStar Kayak Series redfish tournament down in Galveston, TX earlier this month. This was my first time ever fishing inshore and I ended up hooking into more than I bargained for. These fish are freight trains! As always, your feedback (good or bad) is very welcome! Where is the outback?? Good video! Bill Bragman, owner of Yak Gear, let me borrow this Heritage Angler so I could use a "paddle" yak in the shallow marshes. The Outback doesn't track very well, so for tournament day I wanted something a little more efficient. It was convenient because since he's "the" Yak Gear and Railblaza guy, the boat was already decked out with starports and all the accessories I'm used to. Having said that, it also turns out the boat had a small leak. I was sitting very, very low in the water by day's end. LOL! Thanks for the kind words everybody. It means a lot. You guys are always my measure for how I did. If it passes the TFF test, I consider it a successful vid. TFF was why I started kayak fishing... if it weren't for all of y'all I'd still be standing on the bank like an idiot.
