Hi, all!
I am a newbie having a nucanoe frontier. Tried several times in Lavon and really liked it.
Since the government shut down, they closed lavonia as well. They are talking about reopen it after 2 weeks probably.
I just can't wait any longer. Could anyone let me know where I can launch kayak easily? Either in lewisville or lavon. Don't like to do it on wet dirt ground.
Thanks a lot for your help!

Thanks Mike! Any particular ramp on the west side of Ray Hubbard? Also not too far from fish spots? For kayak, do they charge any fee?
The reason why I like Lavon is because several spots are publically known for sand bass. I don't have fish finder yet.

I have heard reports of good fishing near the kayak paddle launch on the side opposite of Bass Pro, on the other side of the 30 bridge. I haven't hit that yet. I planned on trying that area out Wednesday but didn't like the odds of getting stuck in the storms. I will be out there next Wednesday weather permitting. Another couple of spots on RH would be Robertson point and party cove or all along the 30 bridge. Most launches at Hubbard are free. LMK if you need more info or want to join next week. Tight lines!!
