more water leaks out of old out dated pipelines than gets used....Need $ to fix pipelines.......

This may sound bad, but screw fork. There are places that need it far far worse! Always follow your first premonition: You were correct it sounds bad! Maybe "pray for rain in the west too" would sound less bad. Just sayn

This may sound bad, but screw fork. Well then screw you short stuff  I agree, other lakes need water far worse than Lake Fork....but we will take every drop we can get.

Went to Waco today and it poured all the way the fellow I met there came from San Antonio and he said it rained all the way for him also so the rain must be wide spread.

It doesn't matter if Fork gets it or not, the City of Dallas is allowed to pull it back down to 6 ft low. With Lavon being so low, they will. Let's hope Lavon gets some of it along with Hubbard, T-wak and the like.

Fork is a 23000 surface acre lake. According to the document you posted, the max they would pull down is maybe a foot per year. There is something else going on with the lake. Go to the upcoming meeting to get hard facts. Dallas didn't pull the lake down to its current state. If they did, they have clearly violated the terms of the agreement for water purchase.

With all that said, all of Texas is in a drought and needs rain bad bad bad! We need some floods like we had back in the 80's.

I have mixed feelings as if we do not get massive amounts of rain we may have our boat ramp dredged in the near future. A little over an inch today so far.
