This may sound bad, but screw fork. There are places that need it far far worse!

4.74 inches of rain? Yippee! That will probably raise the level at Lake Tyler by at least an inch and a half...

It doesn't matter if Fork gets it or not, the City of Dallas is allowed to pull it back down to 6 ft low. With Lavon being so low, they will. Let's hope Lavon gets some of it along with Hubbard, T-wak and the like.

I named the thread wrong. Should be more like "looks like North East Texas" is gonna get beneficial rain. I know folks are needing rain, not just exclusive to Fork!

It would be nice if it would fill up. I would make duck hunting a lot nicer.

there's going to be a meeting about lake fork and City of Dallas. Meeting in November at Emory Texas. Go to Lake fork sportsmans association for details. Will be a good meeting for all to attend to find out exactly what is going on with Fork water level. We attended the Lake Fork Chamber of Commerce meeting last week and Bill Kirby from Sabine River Authority was guest speaker. He never said Fork would be pulled down 6 feet.

But people in the Metroplex and businesses there have to water grass when it is pouring down rain. And you don't have to look hard to see that just drine down Regal Row when it is raining. Then there are also people who have $5,000 to $15,000 monthly water bills.
