Sadly it has been sometime since i have got the boat wet. In another week and a half i will have lots of time to fish. I dont usually fish during the winter but want to give winter catfishing a try.

I usually fish Cleburne, Alvarado, Whitney and i put in at Hams Creek and fish the brazos. I read a few posts doing a search yesterday and found posts that Cleburne was almost impossible to launch in two weeks ago at the golf course side. Still true?

Anyone tried the ramp at Alvarado or Hams Creek? I know the lack of rainfall has killed the lakes around here and im just tying to figure out if i should just keep the boat in the garage if ramps are sketchy and fish from the bank.

Yes, i sent a PM to a guy yesterday who also said that Alvarado is fine to launch in.

Hopefully this rain that we are supposed to get today will be mostly run off for the lakes because the ground is still somewhat saturated from the rain Saturday.
