The big girls (buffs) are starting to move shallow making site casting for these finicky hard fighting fish easy. Here's a link to my video of a skinny carp and a mean 19 pound buff that destroyed a Barry's Carp fly. http://youtu.be/WNnyV5z4hSU

Nice. More about that skiff!? Thanks  16 ft Carolina Skiff I customized for fly fishing. Other than a mean upwind hull slap she does pretty good, not a Maverick/East Cape/Hells Bay poling skiff but she gets the job done.
