If mr Gilbert dosent want all 27 trucks I will buy the leftovers

I just bought a F150 thru 5 Star Ford. My entry fee is covered for the next 2 years. I shopped it and found it was a great deal.

The schedule is boring same ole Lakes. It would be nice to see that change some but I understand why those lakes are on the schedule.

Great job Champs on sponsorships. I will be fishing the trail again this year.

When the 2014 schedule and my work schedule has been compared, I'll be lining up what dates I can fish with my off time. I haven't fished champs in the past but I've heard a lot of good things so why not.

Great job Champs!! We should all be so thankful that we are presented an opportunity to win a new truck for a minimal entry fee. I would seriously consider buying a raffle and a random drawing for the same deal. I cannot believe anyone could complain. To all those people complaining, here is a thought. Go pay 200$ a derby and fish for 2500$ for first place and be happy, or then again you might complain about that too.

I still say the truck is a far cry better than the boat, you would have people beating your door down to buy the truck for 15K. I do not fish too many Bass Champs tourneys, the ones I have fished have all been ran as good as it can get, these guys have done a remarkable job.

+1 I agree with you. Get them all there at the same time and have a bidding war.

I also think Bass Champs is one of the best run tournament trails out there. My hat is off to them for bringing Ford to the table. That is quite an accomplishment!

You might be right , if they would do a transferable certificate it would be easy. If the trucks are live and in person then TTL is due when delivery is take which also makes it a used truck. I have experienced winning a truck and we ended up selling it back to the dealer it came from because we couldn't find a buyer right away and the supplier wanted us to come pay TTL to finalize it.

Payouts look great. Thanks to the Ford program I will be fishing stress free with no entry for the next 2 years and have a shot at winning some big cash or prizes! If its for you then support it, if not simply find another trail.

Man theres more complaining and whining about WINNING a new truck then there was about being CHEATED by R. Rose!!! You guys are spoiled apparently... N.E.G.E. - Not Ever Good Enough.

I work at a ford dealership and pulled an invoice on one of these trucks with a V-6 and manual locks/air with Auto Trans and it costs 25k and some change and stickers for 27k. The invoice is on a 2013 that we got in February.

I did the same thing, it will be a stronger deal than the $15k to win.

Thumbs up to bass champs for a job well done. What a great opportunity to win a new truck for those who choose to fish for one, really a neat idea, I am sure I will be donating to a few next year. I do have a question, I know when you win cash you should be able to write a bunch of that off to ease the tax burden if you will. Now when you win a truck or a boat, is it different on how you do your taxes based on the value of the truck or boat? like if you win a 20,000 dollar truck, you pay the sales tax I am guessing so can you write the sales tax off like you could if it was 20,000 in cash, just curious how that works.

Looks like your going to pay tax on about 27 k from the post above I could be wrong been before .Or you could drive it one week and your partner the next or just make it your Rig tower

My concerns are prefish, off limits, and guides....Prefish days are needed and are wanted by EVERY person Ive talked to... and I say open it up to the few guides also. Thats old school thinking. 95% of anglers today are too good to be concerned about a "guide". If, and I stretch IF, he has anything going he will help a tourney guy/friend anyway so... let them fish regardless. NO 30 day rule!
