I added a new item to the list this weekend on Sandlin. A Checkit Stick. Me and my partner were culling. I turned around off the bow to help and I stepped on it and slid ( it was raining), compressed it against the edge of a shut compartment, it bowed and released into my chin them jumped 5 ft in the air over the center console and the powerpolls. Sounded like a bad tuning fork flying threw the air. My co angler thought I threw it at him.

My dignity after hooking a DD 4 times (so far) and still have not landed her!!! Guess she hasn't gotten this big by being dumb and/or passive. LOL

About 6 years ago on rayburn pre-fishing for a tournament. Norther blew in - I had put in at Jackson Hill and was fishing alone. Made it back across the lake and the guys from the marina were helping people get loaded. When it was my turn I odled by the ramp to throw my keys to the guy and you guessed it I threw them right in the lake. Figured it was only about 4-6 feet deep so I went around and put hte boat on the bank at the swimming area and walked back over to the ramp. Went swimming to find keys ....nada. Was a real pain = I have a spare set now.
Oh and when I walked back over to check on my boat it had blown off the bank and was across the swimmin cove - had to swim over to retrieve. After waiting for the wife to bring spare keys from Jasper I was ready to have a cold one.

Pair of Oakleys that I didn't know where on the back of hat. Saw them hit the water and slowly sink before I could get them. And my billfold while I was surf fishing in Galveston.

So far a rod/reel combo. Probably $100 bucks and a pair of ray ban sun glasses but tomorrow is a new day so it could get a lot worse.

I lost a brand new Gloomis GLX 844 with a Shimano Chronark on Cedar Creek during a Bass Champs tournament once it ruined my day for sure!!! I didn't realize it was gone till I got to my fishing spot and it was gone it never got strapped down...  Most recently I had a pair of Maui Jim's blow off at Lake Fork that one hurt too especially since I didn't have any replacements...
