I can't believe that the Carolina rig is severely hated. Year in and year out I catch more fish on a C-rig than everything else put together. I refuse to throw a hard jerkbait, but will throw a soft one all day. If I haven't had a bite on a deep crank in a very few casts, it's time to pick up the C-rig..
