That's true. When I used to say "I hate the rig" - I meant the Carolina. Now the Alabama has overtaken the Carolina for most despised "rig" going. Never thought I'd see that.

C-Rig in anything deeper than about 12 ft.

I actually have not thrown it in years, if they wont eat a jig or a Texas rig then i will go shallow. agree with this 100%

Carolina rig. Not too sure why, but I just have zero confidence in it. I've caught fish on it, but I'd rather throw a jig or a texas rig. What he said...

I can't believe that the Carolina rig is severely hated. Year in and year out I catch more fish on a C-rig than everything else put together. I refuse to throw a hard jerkbait, but will throw a soft one all day. If I haven't had a bite on a deep crank in a very few casts, it's time to pick up the C-rig..
