Does anyone know a spot on lake granger I could put my kayak into the water? Also if I'm going to use live minnows, should I just free line those? What size hook or weight if any

The parks were closed with government shutdown and I haven't checked to see if the natural ramp (primitive ramp if you look for it on the maps) is still open or if they gated the road that went there.
I'm not sure if you would really get in any trouble if you park outside the closed gates and wheel your kayak in, but that could be a long walk..

Granger is now open as are all Corps of Engineer lakes.
Fox Park and Taylor Park both have ramps and a kayak could probably be launched at either. I was at Fox Park ramp this past Wed and all was OK.
