My wife is in charge of providing a roast beef carving station for a friends baby shower. Problem is we have no idea where to find a place where we can buy a cooked roast beef anywhere in Dallas. Can you guys help us out with this?

She tried them already. They want to sell her prime rib at $15.98lb. She has to buy 20lbs so I told her that is out!

You can buy a whole cooked roast beef in the deli section of most grocery stores for $7-$9 dollars a pound. I would try an HEB if you have one around you.

well i'd imagine you'd have to buy a few big prime rib roast and either DIY in your oven or find a catering company that you can order from a la carte. doesn't sounds like an easy task, who ever was in charge of the prime rib idea should've been responsible for that. check SAM's or Costco...

Get her inside round roast. Not very expensive and cook it low and very slow. It will come out tender and just remember to slice across the grain. Rub it down the night before and let it rest at least an hour if not two before carving.
