yeaterday I hung around with some folks that are tff members . we didn't do much ketchn ,we mostly ran the motor and dropped a jig here and there, the fish were not cooperative and when they mentioned coming back in the am I said maybe go over to where we were last week ? there are some mighty fine fish in there. well as I rode back with another tff member he kinda said where would you go in the am ? I said I think to the spot we hit last weekend , I think its a real likely possibility someone ketches a nice fish over 2 lbs ,well when i checked in about 9 am with him to see how they was doing ..he responded...King a the Yellow Bass ...

well later in the day about lunch 12:11 am to be exact my phone rings and my buddy says hey ketchn you got a minute ? I said well brother kind of , I am on honey do chore list day and don't seem to be completing much , so why not ? he proceeds to tell me a fish story , seems he was on the phone a bit bored with the bite and yaking with another tff member when the I pilot kicked in and made his bait drift a bit , said he knew when it hit ;;;it was big .....ran up to the front of the boat and handed the phone over to the co pilot ..held the rod high and said best git the net , this fish feels big-well as it goes by he says its over 2 ! a figure 8 and right in the ole net like the pros do ...LOL ...

well he starts getting a bit exicted as he tells the story and says man I just ketched my personal best !!! I said brother don't pull my leg and he says I got 4 witnesses 3 from the tff and a 4th TFF er on the phone
she is a 16 inch long 2 lb . 6 oz. WHITE CRAPPIE WHALE and the pictures begin to come ...she was a WHALE ...and I told him i think that tops the lake record if i remember right ....?sure enough it is larger than the record set 14 years ago !!!!
i am so happy for him i cant tell you , he now holds the family crown on big crappie that his son had for a while at 2 lb 4 oz ....so as we chatted a bit later after dinner ... i said you know you have witnesses and you could easily get it certified and put in the books .... his says nope ketchn kant do it i say why brother ...????
he says kuz i just ate it !!!! HAHAHA

My wife caught the lake record on RR about 4 years ago, we ate it too.
