What are your top 2 baits to throw the morning after a storm?

Zara Spook and switching back and forth with the Halloween spinner bait and the Tweeked Hank parker.

I would still start at the heavest cover I could find closest to the creek channel with the Orange Spinner bait just to see if they are still grouped up. After I tried a couple of places and nothing put it down.

If it remains cloudy this morning stay with the Spook and alternate with the Hank Parker in the heavy stuff as often as possible.

Tried a Spook and black buzzbait this morning and no takers. Slow rolled a spinnerbait in 4-6ft water bumping it into cover and bam it was on!!!

If that storm would have rolled through just before day break it would have been lights out. There is nothing that will beat the Orange Spinner Bait during and after the storm. Glad you figured them out and caught some.

The Zara Spook Jr and Puppy worked this morning at Ray Roberts. I even got a catfish on the Puppy. Had several short strikes but they didn't seem to want the follow-up lures.

I also found a Shell sation selling gas for less than $3 a gallon. grin
