Took the boat out yesterday to blow out the cobwebs and make a few cast , on my way to Twin Coves passed 3 bass boats with
camera crews in the back seat . Once I got on my spot a helicopter with a camera man perched on the rails, was hovering overhead filming a different angler coming from a different direction working the shoreline , they were making such a racket , I left.
Went back out this morning and they were out there again, minus the copter. ??

were they wrapped boats might be part of major fishing league

Ya KVD, skeet Reese, Marty stone, randy Howell and Brian velvik were there from what I saw! Some more for sure but didn't recognize them!

Thanks , yeah the boats had wraps , I couldn't tell you what they said ,seems I recall Outdoor World on one of them , they were fishing some of my old haunts but I never saw anyone hookup so I guess we are even !

just read it was jack links challange they are here for six days dont know if this was the last two or if theres one more lake to go in n texas they tell them that morning wht lake to go to should be on outdoor channell soon siad they are having a blast up here and are on some good fish tooi knowthey were at ray roberts mid week

I used Katie Woods but it was practically a ghost town only a few vehicles were in the parking lot , it's not in the best shape the courtesy dock is in about a foot of water .Sooo I say they had an alternate ramp ??

i had heard that twin coves was extended down i just saw a pontoon rip his axle off at katies on the side closer to the dock

Ouch !Yeah I fell in that hole too but was able to pull out and re-launch in the middle safely ! We need rain !!!!!!
btw .we fished the very back of Twin Coves to get out of the wind and when we passed by they had heavy equipment digging up the ramp ! looked like it will be a while before it's useable.

Was out there today as well. Got to talk to Kvd and Randy Howell at the ramp. Launched at dove. Got to see Kvd pick apart a couple points with a crank... you dont know power-fishing until you see this guy fishing in person.

Drove out to Meadowmere Ramp just checking on the lake this afternoon and saw this boat. Had two fishing and a camera man in the middle. They were hitting secondary points and in some real skinny water.

Couldn't tell who it was.
