Texas rig, they like the clacking noise between the hook and the weight. A crawfish makes a clacking noise when they dart off.

Caught bass behind other fisherman with a sweet beaver, tx rig. Go to color are white trash or watermelon dip chart., around boat docks.

No big news of course but it is a great bait.
I like the jig rig like above but I use a strike king tungsten weight with skirt and a flipping hook. I use a rubber stopper as well. This rig will get thru the heavy heavy cover that a jig might get hung up in. Great bait for that situation and gets BIG bites. Second way I use is tx rig on bed fish- bait creates vibrations that some bed fish will stomp on- just depends on the mood of the fish though- lol.

What is the best two ways to fish this bait?
Can it be effective on swim jig? Use a RI skinny dipper on the swim jig and slow roll it. Sweet Beaver is a great Jig Trailer or Tx rig it.
