Going on my last fishing trip to the Ozarks this weekend and pulling the boat out of the water for the winter after. The weather is good and cold up here now. It has been getting down close to freezing at night with highs in the 50's. Any tips for the colder weather fishing? My last trip I caught a bunch of fish at 25-35' feet. Just wondering what people would suggest for the colder temps. Thanks!

bundle up in layers and use fresh bait if possible

you are so lucky to have that kind of weather going on...we can't wait to get in on it too!

Oh I will be taking plenty of stuff to layer up and fishing as much as I can. Now just need Friday to hurry up and get here!

Hope to catch some fresh bait. Haven't had any luck at all finding big shad down there all summer. Were tons of 2" or so schools all summer but mainly been catching perch and using those as cut bait.

Was 29 degrees out when I left the house today with a high of 60. Water temp is in the mid to low 60's right now. Sure hope to get on some fish this weekend!
